Inver Cottage Restaurant

Our menu will change throughout the year as seasons come and go. It is also very dependent on the availability of local produce such as hand-dived scallops, langoustines from the bay, local Argyll venison and any other delights we can get our hands on. Call if there is anything special you require. We're all ears.

At Inver Cottage, whether it's a cappuccino and some wickedly tempting home baking, a light and flavoursome lunch or something special from the dinner menu, we use the very best local ingredients in a fresh and imaginative way, serving delicious food in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with stunning views across the bay to Old Castle Lachlan.

Inver Secrets

Just like 'The Colonel', Inver has a few secret recipes all of its own...

Take the Inver Steak & Guinness Pie for example. A recipe passed down from generation to generation with a few secret tweaks along the way, it's one dish we've been unable to take off the menu because it is so, so popular. The little dish we use to mold the pie has been passed down from Gina and is now the only one in existence. It is so sacred that it's now kept under lock and key in a safe, buried  deep down under a tree on the shore by Old Castle Lachlan(don't worry, we have a map which is kept under lock and key under a tree blah, blah, blah... you get the picture).
